Tinder Hearth: Pizza, Portraits, Perennials
Americans Who Tell the Truth will be hanging in the neighborhood this summer – at our favorite indoor/outdoor local eatery, Tinder Hearth. Eleven portraits with Maine connections will grace the barn during the last half of July and through August. So, if you’re in the area, please stop by for some great food while soaking up the vibes of these inspiring truth tellers. (Check Tinder Hearth hours and dinner reservation information before you come.)
The exhibit includes local legend Scott Nearing and Maine’s beloved Presidential Inaugural poet Richard Blanco. Some of the portraits will be rotating. So if you want to see Sherri Mitchell, Frances Perkins, and Heather Cox Richardson, come in July; these three women will be traveling to our Ellsworth show in August.
On your way out, pick up a free AWTT bookmark, as a memento of your magical summer experience in the gardens and barn at Tinder Hearth – and as a reminder that you can bring these beautiful portraits to your school or library, museum or gallery, or an unlikely venue like a barn.
