My Hero Project and AWTT Create “The Shetterly Prize”

Together with the California-based My Hero Project, Americans Who Tell the Truth has created “The Shetterly Prize.” Anyone from professional artists to students are invited to participate by submitting art that portrays heroes, heroism, acts of kindness or courage by individuals or by groups. All work should be submitted to the My Hero website.

Submissions are due by October 1. Special consideration will be given to artwork that deals with one or more of the following issues: Peace, Environment, Healthy Relationships, Activism.

The winner, selected by Robert Shetterly and a panel from the My Hero Project, will receive a cash award of $500 and be invited to the My Hero 20th Anniversary celebration later this fall. We hope to see you there!

Bring Americans Who Tell the Truth (AWTT) original portraits to your community.
