What Is a Maine Story?

Americans Who Tell the Truth is pleased to be featured in Bangor Public Library’s year-long series “What is a Maine Story?” The library will be hosting a screening of the Truth Tellers documentary (view trailer) at 6 p.m. on February 22, 2024. Then 12 of Shetterly’s Maine-related portraits will be on display throughout the month of March, along side artwork from other community members.

Other events include a hands-on portraiture workshop with Shetterly on March 12, 4-6 p.m. Then on March 23, 2-3:30 p.m., a closing celebration will feature Shetterly’s works, along with community-submitted works.

The Library is offering a wide-variety of interesting events throughout the year, opening with a display of Paul Bunyan and Babe in January and an overview of Franco-American voices with Jeri Theriault on March 9th.
