The Community Church of Boston will host a program with AWTT artist Robert Shetterly on Sunday March 5, 2023 at 11 am. The event will take place online and at the Church, 565 Boylston Street, 2nd fl., Boston. Robert will by joined by musicians John and Rachel Nicholas, who will perform related inspiring music about some of the portrait subjects Robert has painted. Robert will talk about the origins of the Americans Who Tell the Truth (AWTT) portrait project – what it was 21 years ago and what it is now. And he’ll tell stories about the lives of some of the people he has painted. The stories will highlight the courageous efforts of people to close the gap between what we say as a country and what we do. A selection of his portraits will be on display.
