Divided We Fall: Walking Back Toward Unity
The Land Peace Foundation is sponsoring a “town hall” event at Johnson Hall in Gardiner, Maine on April 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. Billed as “one of the most important conversations of our time,” this free, public event will feature a panel of six social, political and spiritual leaders who will spearhead the public discussion around the dangers of cultural polarization and what is needed to move us toward more kind, respectful and unified communities. The panelists are:
Sherri Mitchell – Indigenous leader, author, CEO of Land Peace Foundation
Robert Shetterly – Political activist, portrait artist – Americans Who Tell the Truth
Rachel Talbot Ross – Maine Senator, Civil Rights activist
Rick Bennett – Maine Senator
Humphrey Johnson ; Attorney, high-conflict mediator – Appreciated Solutions, LLC
Sara Hayman – Unitarian Universalist Minister
