The Maine Arts Commission, Belfast Community Media and Our Town Belfast will host a free outdoor event on Brigham Green in Belfast, Maine on the evening of September 12, 2025. Live music will start at 7 p.m. Then at 7:45 p.m., artist Robert Shetterly will introduce portraits from his Americans Who Tell the Truth portrait gallery by large-scale projection above the Green.

This is a first for AWTT – viewing Shetterly’s beautiful portraits by large-scale projection after dark. And, for those who have not heard Shetterly tell the stories of some of his favorite portrait subjects, you are in for a unique and inspiring experience.

Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
