AWTT portraits have been shipped off to Columbus, Ohio. We are pleased to be visiting the Columbus Montessori Education Center for the last half of February through mid-March. The show will feature Black women who have led and inspired, despite the hurdles they faced. The collection includes historic figures, like Claudette Colvin – who refused to give up her seat on the bus – to young leaders of today, like Debbie Njai – who reclaims outdoor spaces for all people, including people of color.

Founded by Linda Neugebauer and Mary Lee, the Columbus Montessori Educational Center offers a high-quality Montessori curriculum that supports individually-paced learning, fosters independence, encourages empathy, instills a passion for social justice, and promotes joy in lifelong learning.
