Screening of “Truth Tellers” at The Whistleblower Summit in D.C.

Join us on July 30, 2022 for a screening of Truth Tellers at The Whistleblower Summit & Film Festival.  Truth Tellers documents the evolution of AWTT, featuring the inspiring stories of people whose portraits appear in the AWTT collection. AWTT artist Robert Shetterly whistleblower Dawn Wooten, and filmmaker Richard Kane will hold a Zoomed Q and A session at noon on that the day. The virtual film screening will be at 7 p.m.

Whistleblowers LogoThe Whistleblower Summit & Film Festival will be a week-long hybrid event this year, taking place virtually, on Capitol Hill and at the National Press Club. The organizers describe the Festival as “the intersection between media, politics, culture and entertainment. Whistleblower stories (books and movies) are as American as apple pie. Come to the only Washington, DC film festival with events on Capitol Hill. Rub elbows with famous whistleblowers like Frank Serpico and Jeff Wigand or meet political leaders like Senator Charles Grassley, Representative Elijah Cummings and “Jonestown” survivor, Representative Jackie Speier. There is not free press without news sources. There can be no Congressional oversight without government informants. Whistleblowers are the “Fifth Estate” protecting freedom and liberty.”
