AWTT is pleased to be collaborating with the Monarch Learning Academy in Orlando, Florida during the month of August. Twelve portraits will be on exhibit from August 1 to September 5, 2024 at the Orange County Administration Center. In conjunction with the exhibit, Monarch students will learn the stories of the portrait subjects, discuss their impact, engage in related learning activities.  AWTT artist Robert Shetterly will be on hand to help facilitate the students’ interaction with the portraits. This promises to be an inspiring start to the school year!

Special event: Shetterly will make a public appearance the The Atrium, Orange Country Administration Center, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024. All are invited to engage with Shetterly as he talks about his art and the inspiring stories of the Truth Tellers he paints.

The exhibit and Shetterly’s artist talk are co-sponsored by Monarch and Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs.
