According to an April 27 press release from Earthworks, Diane Wilson‘s hunger strike has entered its 20th day. Representatives of 81 fishing communities and environmental and human rights organizations have sent a letter to the Biden Administration urging the President to revoke authorization for the proposed dredging of the Matagorda Ship Channel.
“I am risking my life to stop this project because it would destroy my community’s fisheries, our climate, and our way of life,” said Diane Wilson.
