Marian Wright Edelman, founder an president emerita, of the Children’s Defense Fund, continues her fight for children – that they may lead healthy, safe lives, freed from poverty and imbued with hope and aspiration.
In this March 2019 Op-Ed piece, Edelman focuses in on impending SNAP cuts that will hurt the lowest-income children.
Earlier this year, The Washington Post, published an article about her ongoing work at age 79.
