AWTT’s Director of Education Connie Carter and Troy Howard Middle School teacher Caitlin Hutt will present a joint session at the 2024 Maine Middle Level Institute Conference at the University of Maine on June 25.

Their session, Bring Content Alive with Americans Who Tell the Truth, will share how AWTT makes content come alive. They will feature interdisciplinary resources that deepen students’ knowledge and understanding of current and past events. They will share how students have found truth and hope, how each student has taken a journey and acquired a voice about an issue that concerns them. Educators will learn how to use AWTT to connect history, science, language arts, music and other curricula as they build a bridge between the classroom and the world.
