AWTT on Maine Calling

Maine Calling host Jennifer Rooks interviewed AWTT artist Robert Shetterly and education director Connie Carter on March 25, 2023. If you missed the show, it is archived here on the Maine Public site.

Maine Calling Highlights:

A new film, Truth Tellers, documents the work of Maine artist/activist Robert Shetterly.

Shetterly has painted portraits of more than 250 Americans who have worked to better society in different ways, from climate activism to racial justice to education. We learn about who some of these “truth tellers” are – including many based in Maine – and we’ll discuss the power of art to educate and inspire.
