DESCRIPTION:The Saranac Lake Free Library in Saranac Lake, New York, will display posters of AWTT portraits during the month of March 2026.\nArtist Robert Shetterly ( https://americanswhotellthetruth.org/about/about-the-artist/ ) will make a Zoom appearance during the launch event on March 5 at 6 p.m. Shetterly will share some remarks about his Americans Who Tell the Truth portrait project, followed by a Q and A session.  This will be a hybrid event. Contact Anna Forsman at John Brown Lives! if you want to participate remotely.\nThe portrait show was inspired by an outdoor exhibit ( https://americanswhotellthetruth.org/case_studies/taking-awtt-outdoors/ ) during the summer and fall at the John Brown Farm State Historic Site in Lake Placid. Stay tuned for announcement of a follow-up exhibit there from May to October 2026.\nThis library show is co-sponsored by John Brown Lives!; OurStoryBridge Listens: Present in the Moment; the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System; and the Northern New York Library Network.\n
