SUMMARY:Cove Street Arts: In the Moment
DESCRIPTION:AWTT Artist Robert Shetterly ( https://americanswhotellthetruth.org/about/about-the-artist/ ) is pleased to be joining several talented artists in an exhibit that is opening at Cove Street Arts in Portland, Maine on October 12, 2023.  The theme of the show is “In the Moment.”\nExhibit Dates: October 12 – December 2, 2023\nOpening Reception: October 12, 5 – 7pm\nCo-curated by Wes LaFountain & Bob Keyes\nFeatured Artists: Joel Babb, Lucinda Bliss, Alan Bray, Torsten Brinkema, Paul Brown, Marsha Donahue, Charles DuBack, Evelyn Dunphy, Jessica Gandolf, Tom Glover, Tom Hall, Séan Alonzo Harris, Duncan Hewitt, Jessica Lee Ives, John Laurent, Amanda Lilleston, Kathleen Mack, Jim Mullen, Tom Paiement, Scott Peterman, Robert Shetterly, John Whalley, Ben Whalley, Eamon White\nAbout Cove Street Arts: “The focus of this interdisciplinary art space is a celebration of Maine’s storied and out-sized place in American Art History, with a mission of promoting contemporary Maine art, contributing to the Maine arts economy, and engaging meaningfully in the vibrant and growing East Bayside community by offering workshops and art-centered educational opportunities. Our 8,000 square foot exhibition space is dedicated to showing the incredible breadth and depth of fine art being made in this state and demonstrating how Maine remains a buzzing locus of creative energy – and how vibrant and vital Maine’s art scene continues to be. The space includes multiple galleries and showrooms, a bookstore/small works gallery, event and workshop space, and a full-size, retractable movie screen for video art installations and film screenings. In recognition of the current paucity of affordable studio space in Portland, Cove Street Arts also features two artist studios in which residencies will be offered on an invitational basis.”\nGo to Cove Street Arts exhibit page\n
