These amazing portraits travel the country making a huge impact in local schools and communities. Sharon Elementary School fourth and fifth graders will have an in-person gathering with [the artist] on Thursday, September 21.”\nFeatured portrait above is Naomi Klein whose quote, scribed into the painting, says, “…our economy is at war with many forms of life on earth, including human life. What the climate needs to avoid collapse is a contraction in humanity’s use of resources; what our economic model demands to avoid collapse is unfettered expansion.
