DESCRIPTION:The PEG Center for Art & Activism of Newburyport, MA will host an event at 6:00 – 8:30 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023. This  evening of celebration, friends and fundraising will take place at the beautiful Hoffman Barn on the banks of the Merrimack River. AWTT artist Robert Shetterly, ( https://americanswhotellthetruth.org/about/about-the-artist/ ) a consummate storyteller, will be the keynote speaker.\nThe PEG Center for Art and Activism, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, develops and hosts exhibits, lectures, discussion groups, educational events, and activist programs to increase community awareness and engagement related to the environmental crisis, social justice and human rights. The Center collaborates with artists, activists, experts, and organizations to provide comprehensive education to spur social change. Their motto is “Educate-to-Motivate-to-Activate.”\nDinner will be provided by Kitchen to Aisle, along with beer, wine and  a signature cocktail.
