The Thoreau Society is a group devoted to Henry Thoreau. It's made up of scholars, writers, farmers, activists...in fact, anybody who considers him or herself a Thoreauvian. They publish and annual journal called The Concord Saunterer, and host an annual conference on the July weekend closest to Thoreau's birthday.
