You're missing Krissy Keefer though. Her, Cynthia and Cindy are good friends. She tried to warn the world about Nancy Pelosi and failed but fought the good fight and lost.

Dear Mr.Rodriguez,
I'm curious to know where you got the idea that I am a Communist or hate this country. Quite the contrary. I am only trying to hold the country to its own high ideals. Furthermore, I have not blamed the US for 9/11, but I certainly do think there are many unanswered questions that make the government's story very unlikely.

Most of you probably know that the word for TRUTH in Russian is PRAVDA. That was also the name of the USSR's main Party Organ, founded by Lenin, who knew that the truth at any given moment is that which advances progress and class struggle. The USSR is no more, but we are glad to see that Lenin's tradition of telling the Truth still lives on in the far-away America.

Good question! The only reason that I have not painted Tom Paine is that I would have had to copy someone else's painting. I haven't painted anyone prior to the invention of photography. |

May I suggest portraits of Paul Hawken and David Korten. Their words have been an inspiration to me in my quest to make sense of why I see the world so differently from many of those around me. I think they both would be worthy additions to the group of people you have already painted.

You are a moral genius. You are truly one of the great painters of history. Your selection of the subjects of your profound book is as true as the North Star. The biographies tell more than the lives of the subjects; they tell us to take action to restore persons who tell the truth to our corporate owned newspapers and media, and to our criminal totalitarian federal government.

Dear Mr. Shetterly,
I just happened upon your site when it was posted on Yes Magazine. Your artistry as well as your humanity is beyond words, inspiring. I noticed that you have Col. Ann Wright, a WONDERFUL choice. I met Col. Wright while attending the court martial of First Lieutenant Ehren Watada, a TRUE living breathing American hero. He has told the truth, he has refused to fight in the ILLEGAL and IMMORAL war in Iraq. For that he is facing years in prison, although currently his case is on hold. Far be it from me to suggest a subject matter for you to paint, but amongst the many American truth tellers, Ehren Watada stands out as someone who is willing to put his own freedom on the line.
